Honestly you should be with the guy you are more into
Bless your heart. I wish I knew some advice to give you, but I am without good advice. I can say that I feel that you need to get some outside help. Talk to your Mom and tell her how you feel. She needs to know. I realize she is probably making excuses for him to try to keep peace in the family, but what she does not realize is that she is in the long run hurting the entire family by allowing this type of behavior to go on to you and your brother. She may be afraid herself and not know what to do. But at least tell her how you feel if she does not know already. Next is try to get some type of help/advice through a close aunt or uncle or grandparent. Let them know what is going on in the house. You children should not be the victim of this type of behavior. Yes, we as parents are stressed, but we as adults have to learn how to deal with the stress without taking it out on someone else. I feel for you and my heart goes out to you. If the aunt/uncle thing does not work out, try talking to your doctor or guidance counselor at school and see what advice they can give you. Good luck. You and your brother will be in my prayers. I wish the best for you. Life at home should not be stressful to you and your siblings.
